Parking in the lower parts of the train station in downtown Chicago
August 3, 2013:
5529 S. Harper Street, Chicago: I am staying with Laura and David. Laura is Peg’s best friend and Laura and David have been wonderful hosts in opening up their house to Steve, Elena, Maya, and me. The Utah/Spain crowd arrived one day before I did.
So the big news is after we grabbed a late breakfast, and woke the girls up, Peg’s oldest brother, Bill, came over and drove us to a bunker in downtown Chicago where we parked his car. Jim spend his formative years working for the Illinois Central Railroad and you just wouldn’t believe where we parked.
Bill is getting his supervisor's hat and old pass to hang on its review mirror. Cheap parking. It was very dark and dusty there...Steve is on the left, Maddy on the right, with Elena of Spain on the right.
From there we walked downtown to State and Lake (?) where we met up with Jim, another McKenzie brother, who had the tickets. From there we took the “L” to Wrigley field where we
watched the Dodgers win one of the slowest baseball games every played.

The view from section 231. Awesome. Thank you Jim.

Travis Woods walks four in the third.
Travis Woods was good in even number innings, but his third inning stands out. I don't believe I have ever seen four walks in a row. Mr. Woods didn't make it out of the fourth inning and the Cubs were unable to get a timely hit and score runners, which sounds a lot like the Giants or Twins–a lack of timely hitting.
